EUBINGO is the Federation of European Bingo Associations. It was formed in January 2006 at the European Parliament in Brussels with two members, the Bingo Association of Great Britian and the Spanish Confederation of organizations of bingo games managers (CEJ). Currently there are five members. The additional three members are Federbingo – Italy, the Star Bingo Group in the Republic of Ireland and the Northern Ireland Bingo and Gaming Association.
The main aim of EUBINGO is the represent the interests of its members, be a source of information for its members and to investigate and cover issues concerning the bingo market. EUBINGO is also responsible for collecting data and information on the industry and ensuring that players have a safe and secure experience.
EUBINGO follows both European and national legislative developments that impact on the bingo market. The organization is based in Brussels and run by an executive board that meets twice a year.
The EUBINGO website covers news and updates regarding bingo in European countries. It also covers ongoing campaigns in these countries and their progress. Their sector overview covers statistics for each member country including the number of bingo halls, revenues and various taxation rates.
Online bingo has become a larger priority for EUBINGO with respect to best practices, licensing and guidelines for responsible gambling. EUBINGO recognizes that many European countries are experiencing a decline in bingo hall attendance while online bingo is increasing in popularity.
EUBINGO also maintains close ties with other gambling sector trade associations and is actively involved in a number of European sector initiatives.
