In May of 2007, a factory worker in Italy won the largest jackpot ever when InterCasino paid him $8 million.  It was the largest amount ever to be paid out by an online casino.  The Advertising Standards Authority in the UK banned a series of InterCasino adverts that were airing on TV at the time.  The adverts were terminated due to a breach of the UK’s advertising code applicable to all gambling companies.  It was deemed that these TV ads appealed to children and younger individuals.
