Bingo software provider Virtue Fusion signed an exclusive deal with Endemol UK. As part of the deal, Virtue acquired the exclusive rights to design an online bingo game based on the TV game show ‘Deal or No Deal’.
The new bingo game will be launched by the end of October 2009 on websites that are part of the Virtue Fusion network. Online sites such as Ladbrokes, Mecca and Paddy Power have already confirmed they will be hosting the game.
Virtue Fusion also obtained non-exclusive rights to produce mini-games, scratch card games and fixed odd games based on the Endemol UK’s ‘Big Brother’ and ‘Golden Balls’. From autumn, websites in the Virtue Fusion network will have ‘Quick Scratch’ themed games in mini-game and standalone formats.
The ‘Deal or No Deal’ Bingo game mirrors the TV show and each game has a guaranteed payout. There are 26 boxes which contain a different cash prize value. One box is selected to remain unopened until the game ends.
There are several rounds during which a set number of the remaining boxes must be opened. After each round, the banker will make an offer. The amount will depend on the cash values revealed when the boxes are opened during each round. You either make a deal with the banker or move onto the next round.
The game ends when you take the deal from the banker or reject their final offer and open the last box. The winnings are added to your account. Maximum prizes are as much as £250,000.
