Unfortunately, due to the fear of legal intervention by the US and recent UK tax law changes, both parties decided to cease negotiations as of April of 2007.  Today, 888.com is one of the leaders in the global internet gambling industry as well as being the largest gambling site on the internet.  Originally launched in 1997, over 25 million people have enjoyed the excitement and wagering at 888.com.

Additionally, in 2007 and 2008, the site was voted as the “Best Betting and Gaming Company” by Leisure Report.  They were also voted as “Operator of the Year” in 2008.
